You're dismissing the most obvious, parsimonious explanation for low black achievement in measures in civility. If you want to blame stereotypes - show the stereotypes aren't true.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
I would like to better understand your position. You say that you don't know any blacks that have interest or concern for their families. How many black people do you know? I know many black people that have a great amount of interest and concern for their families. Conversely, I also know several white people who have very little interest or concern for their families. This is not a matter of skin color. It is a matter of who the person is.
Are you denying that centuries of slavery have had a tremendously crippling effect on those who descended from slaves? Are you descended from slaves?
What African states have education, employment, criminal, and IQ levels similar to African Americans?
What is your explanation for what you call low black achievement?
but blacks being the white man's problem or burden (uh one of these) Is this given to all blacks that are huuuh under the social ecomomic/ or financial line, that is a burden on society because of A crime, because they cannot support themsellves properly on meager salaries, drug use behavior because of course if your meager salary cannot sustain you, people usually sell dope to make money, hey got to have a roof over your head, and money used to house and clothe brothers who have been incarcerated. been going on for years,
but to educate, and empower, and motivate, a a large majority of a race takes time, and do we actually have the humaity and love to do it. I agree on what you said about black should take the reins and help out our fellow black man, but how many blacks will turn the white man's burden into the upper to middle class black man's burder or black womens burden. and who will fund these great educators and teachers to help out those who have lost their way, maybe in a perfect world, but hey I would like for that to come true to. I feel it is not to late.
